The time commitment for a travel program can be up to five days a week, and some sports are played year 'round. Travel outside the Sunrise area may be required for games and tournaments. Our youth travel athletic programs provide a more competitive environment. Children must try out, and team members are selected by the coaches for each team. Registrations and seasons generally take place as follows:

Games and practices are all held at parks and facilities within Sunrise. Time commitment includes three practices and/or games a week for a specified period of time, usually no more than 4 months. There are mandatory play rules in place for each of these programs. Players are assigned through a blind draft system that attempts to create balanced teams.
